Dear colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 11th International
Workshop on Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia, a meeting focusing on the research
and treatment of both hereditary and sporadic endocrine tumors, which will be
held September 25-27, 2008, in Delphi. This biennial meeting covers both bench
and bedside aspects of endocrine tumors: genotype-phenotype relationships,
surgical and medical management, and new diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures. The multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes with their multiple tissue
expression are of great relevance to diverse medical disciplines, including
Endocrinology, Oncology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Radiology and Nuclear
Medicine, Surgery and Genetics. The speakers and their work are clearly at the
forefront of these fields and, thus, we invite participants from all fields of Medicine.
Delphi's unique history as a place sacred to light, music and poetry, the symbol
of peace and culture, provides the right spiritual environment for this Workshop,
during which we will have the opportunity to exchange important new
information, while enjoying a rich social program and each other's company.
Anticipating your active participation to the scientific program (abstracts and
other proposals are welcome).
Sincerely,
The Workshop Chairs
